The Freedom Theatre aims to provide the boys and girls of Jenin with a space in which they can equally and safely express themselves, imagine other realities and challenge existing social and cultural barriers. The Freedom Theatre provides opportunities for children and youth to develop the skills, self-knowledge and confidence which would empower them to challenge present realities and to take control of their future.

Main Projects / Activities:

The Freedom Theatre is developing a unique programme of workshops in theatre and multimedia, including a three-year professional theatre school, acting training, drama therapy, hosting performances and screenings, web development, photography, creative writing and film making. The programme is mainly targeted at children and youth in Jenin Refugee Camp, Jenin town and surrounding villages.
