ALF Irish network NIA activity at Triskel, Cork, Friday 15th April 2.30 on the theme of Intercultural Competences for Social Cohesion and Intergration in Ireland

The final activity as part of ireland's 2015/2016 National Intercultural Action was held at Triskel, Cork, on Friday 15th and involved workshops with 2nd level students in Cork.  The aim was to increase their awareness of world cultures and beliefs and the educational tools that are available to both students and their teacher.  Presentations and workshops were given by the leader of the NIA, Jenny Siung, Head of Education at Chester Beatty Library Dublin; and partners on the NIA, Dr. Patricia Kiernan, Mary Immaculate College, Limerick, Adrian Cristea, Dublin City Interfaith Forum, and Ann Luttrell, Coordinator of the ALF Irish network.  The event concluded with a workshop by Peadar King, an Irish documentary film maker.
