General Information: 

Amani Creatives is a diverse led arts organisation based in Manchester and led by a team of passionate and dedicated people including volunteers, part time paid and freelancers. Amani 's budgetary sources include public subsidy and personal income generated through the sales of tickets to our events, from playing house bands locally and through our agency fees plus sales of merchandise.
Our key partners are Community Arts North West and Brighter Sound.

Mission and Objectives: 

To support the inclusion of local African communities living locally in the North West of England into the wider society through performing arts events, workshops and programmes using arts and culture as a tool for social change, wellbeing and cohesion.

Main Projects / Activities: 

Amani Live: a series of live African music performances and showcases and a professional development for artists
Amani Festival: a community festival showcasing African culture
Amani Arts Agency: provision of artists, bands and workshop leaders for events.
Amani Community Cohesion Choir: singing workshops with an international flavour for local communities
A briefing session on funding for individuals for people who might want to consider the option for work of becoming self-employed or starting social businesses
