The join coordination of the Polish Network is carried out by the International Cultural Centre and the International Cultural Centre Foundation, which was appointed by Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Polish Ministry of Culture and National Heritage and has been regularly re-endorsed by members.

International Cultural Centre Cultural heritage, reflections on complexity of European civilization, identity and collective memory, presentation and promotion of art, preservation of historical monuments, culture management, intercultural dialogue – these issues are the prime focus of the International Cultural Centre in Krakow.

The ICC, a member of several culture networks and international organizations, carries out most of its actions with foreign partners. These include exhibitions, conferences, seminars, research projects, summer schools and multilingual publications.

International Cultural Centre Foundation Its primary aim is to support the cultural integration of Europe by means of various initiatives heading towards the exchange of ideas, programmes involving the societies of East and West, research, education and international cultural events.

The Head of Network institution is jointly appointed by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The Coordinator is always appointed from among the Network members. The present HoN mandate expires in 2013.

To facilitate the management of the Network, the Coordinators named the most active institutions of the Network to create a s Steering Committee - a body to advise and consult on the most important issues relating to the functioning of the Network. The composition was officially acknowledged during the General Assembly in October 2010.

The Steering Committee currently consists of the representatives of the following organisations:

a) Polish National Commission for UNESCO,

b) Academy of Music in Krakow,

c) Campaign Against Homophobia,

d) Together Poland Foundation,

e) Polish Robert Schumann Foundation,

f) Institute of Slavonic Philology at the Jagiellonian University.

The Foundation provides logistical and operational support to the National Network in Poland through the Network Strategic Development Scheme (NSDS).
